Should students be content with mediocre education?

The answer to that should be no but if it's yes please feel free to share your opinions in the comments below. Where you want to admit it or not education is very crucial to us as Americans, it's as Patrick Henry   said give me liberty or give me death...Well give me education or give me.. definitely not death but poverty. The deprivation of education will eventually lead to death of knowledge which leads to poverty and generations of stupidity. I know the school system will say "well you have to be self motivated" but self motivation isn't enough for the people who have no example of hardwork and persistence. It's harder than what people think really it is. Even the stereotypes that are dished out to each race plays a key role in our education. When one race is labeled as dummies sure enough they will get dumber the more you label them intelligent the more intelligent they will be. Of course I know stereotypes  are not an excuse (of course not) but to give an example when you are teaching a dog a trick you repeatedly say it until they get it and sit down. Another example you have a baby, you name that baby, eventually your child will start answering to that name. So yeah stereotypes do play a part. Students should want more for theirselves because in the end we are the ones who need to get a job later on not our teachers who already have one. We need to take control and not allow all this bleh blah bleh get in our way. Its so hard I know but at the same time we can do it I wonder when we will finally get our act together and perform our very best. I know we should all want top notch edu. I will never wrap my head around just settling for something less. All I know is that as for me I will get me education to the fullest. I hope everyone finds the drive to want more..

How I feel on Nigerian men getting arrested for being gay...

First I want to start off by saying that as a believer in Christ Jesus I'm against homosexuality, I am entitled to that opinion and so are you, you are welcomed to post your comments below. Personally I feel as if you can't force your opinion on everyone and it goes for both parties Nigeria and Human rights activist, as Americans we should stay out of other people politics and business because one it can start a war as we almost experienced with the Syria incident, and two we can't force what we think on other countries. Just as we gained and fought for our independence by ourselves (the French did help us towards the end) and for other things like voting rights, how about  we let the people of the country fight out their battles. Sounds selfish doesn't it but the truth hurts, it might even sound mean letting a 'underdeveloped country' fight their own battle something they've been doing for how long now, but it's not, if the people want gay rights bad enough they will fight for it. America has a big heart if you want to say so I can understand why we want to help everyone but that's if the person wants it and all that other stuff. If you are a believer in Christ this is for you if you're not this is still for you because it speaks to everyone... You have a choice. I mean its just like how God gives a choice to either serve him or not. Hope that makes sense because I don't think my point is being conveyed clear enough. I don't agree that they throw them in jail for it but at least they could expose the love of Christ to them because ,again, God, gives us a choice. Wait... that is what I was trying to say earlier but I don't feel up to it to go up and fix it lol. Anyways I still think that people should bash Africa for banning homosexuality, that's like other countries bashing America for using inches instead of centimeters... (not really but really) It's a sexual orientation right yeah, but then again it's apart of life nothing will be fair, free, or just.  If you happen to notice I am just talking about America and no I'm not slandering my country, there are other countries including Nigerian who are standing against the Jail the Gay, This is me saying why America shouldn't heavily get involved with it.. but to each his own. One more thing I'm not condoning any type of wrong doing towards the men involved.
By the way you can read about the incident on:
